Duck Commander Devo

This was the devo that Amanda and I read this morning. Maybe this is why "they" don't teach the gospel in public school. Daniel's 7th grade History lesson on the rise of the Catholic Church has two sentences under the heading Christianity. The word Jesus appeared twice. TWO SENTENCES!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. Romans 1:16

"THERE IS POWER in the message of Christ. Never doubt it. It not only changes your life, but it changes the lives of the people around you. When they know where you came from and the change the gospel has made in you, they have to realize it took divine intervention to do something like that. That's what gives  you the ability to not be ashamed of the gospel!"

Father, help us to proclaim You and what You did for us. Help us to be humble and to realize it's not about us but You. In your precious name, Amen.

I can't wait to see this guy next month on the K-Love Christmas Tour.
