Foundation of Motto

To be honest,
Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices (Colossians 3:9)

to be kind
love is kind (1 Corinthians 13:4)

To seek justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8)

To always be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer. (Romans 12:12)
Always put others first
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.  (Philippians 2:3)

And above all, be transparent
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)

To persevere,
because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. (James 1:3)

be courageous
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

and confident before God
in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. (Ephesians 3:12)

To love,
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
(Matthew 22:37)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5)

and be thankful in all situations,
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever (Psalm 107:1)

pointing people back to Christ.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. (Matthew 16:24)

May I never lose the wonder of the cross
